Prescribed Burning and Prairie Maintenance, Caterpillar Inc. Mossville, IL
The prairies around this facility were in need of hot burns and invasive species management. This spring NLM conducted the burns and killed most of the invasive plants within the prairies.
CRP Sangamon
Conservation Reserve Program Prep, Sangamon County, IL
This project focused on forestry mulching years of woody growth in an existing CRP easement. In order to re-enroll, the landowner needed all brush removed in
preparation for
a new seed mix.
John Deere
Prescribed Burning, John Deere Davenport, IA
John Deere required fallow areas to be burned to help control invasive species. In addition, NLM developed a plan by which the facility could begin the process of controlling these species during the growing season as well.
